MDG / Master Data Consultants are essential for overseeing the quality, governance, and compliance of master data across finance, customer, and supplier domains within the organization. They ensure efficient data management support for implementations linked to SAP MDG and S/4HANA, facilitating streamlined operations and decision-making.
Responsibilities:- Manage and oversee SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) for financial, customer, and supplier data.
- Implement data quality, cleansing, and stewardship processes.
- Integrate MDG with downstream S/4HANA modules.
- Apply best practices in master data migration methodologies and tools.
- Establish and maintain data governance frameworks and control workflows.
- Ensure compliance with master data regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with business users to resolve data-related issues.
- Contribute to blueprinting and writing functional specifications, user help manuals, and test scripts.
- Support large-scale master data governance implementations.
- Conduct root cause analysis for data quality challenges.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in SAP Master Data Management/MDG consulting.
- Experience in blueprinting and drafting functional specifications.
- Strong integration experience with MDG and downstream S/4HANA modules.
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks and methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills in data quality issues.
