We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Health & Environment Specialist IV to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this senior-level position you will play a crucial role in developing implementing and overseeing comprehensive safety health and environmental management programs across our organization.Develop implement and maintain SHE policies procedures and programs to ensure compliance with local and international regulationsConduct risk assessments and hazard identification to proactively address potential safety and environmental concernsLead incident investigations perform root cause analyses and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrenceDesign and deliver safety training programs to enhance employee awareness and promote a culture of safetyPerform regular safety audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsAnalyze SHE data and prepare comprehensive reports for management identifying trends and areas for improvementManage SHE-related projects and initiatives to continuously enhance the organizations safety performanceCollaborate with various departments to integrate SHE considerations into business operations and decision-making processesStay current with changes in UAE labor laws and international safety standards ensuring the organization remains compliantQualificationsBachelors degree in Occupational Safety and Health Environmental Science or a related fieldCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent international certificationNEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalentMinimum of 7 years of experience in safety health and environmental managementProven track record in developing and implementing SHE policies and proceduresStrong knowledge of occupational safety and health regulations and environmental management systemsExpertise in risk assessment hazard identification and incident investigation techniquesProficiency in data analysis report writing and project managementAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in conducting safety audits and inspectionsKnowledge of UAE labor laws and regulations related to occupational safety and healthFamiliarity with international safety standards (e.g. ISO 45001 ISO 14001)Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong leadership and decision-making abilitiesFluency in English required; Arabic language skills preferredAdditional InformationAbout AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
