Key Responsibilities
Oversee the hotel's complete accounting and financial management functions. Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management. Ensure full compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), UAE tax regulations, and internal
- financial policies. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger activities. Conduct regular bank reconciliations and monitor the organization's daily cash flow. Manage month-end and year-end financial closing processes efficiently. Develop annual budgets, financial forecasts, and detailed variance analysis reports. Analyze operational expenses and recommend effective cost-control measures. Accounting & Auditing
- Coordinate internal and external audits while ensuring timely submission of financial documentation. Maintain accurate accounting records and support all statutory reporting requirements. Review and authorize journal entries, invoices, and payment vouchers. Collaborate with operational departments to ensure accurate inventory and fixed asset accounting. Strengthen internal controls, improve accounting procedures, and enhance financial reporting processes. Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team to maintain high performance standards. Deliver financial insights and recommendations that support executive decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline. Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA are considered a strong advantage. Between five and eight years of accounting experience, including a minimum of two years in a supervisory or
- management position. Strong understanding of IFRS, UAE tax legislation, and hospitality accounting practices. Hands-on experience with ERP or accounting software, along with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities. High level of professionalism, integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
