Job Title Senior Creative Strategist Reporting of the role This role reports to Creative Strategy Director Overview of the job As Senior Creative Strategist (Middle East), you will play a pivotal role in leading the strategic and creative development of campaigns across some of the region’s most high-profile accounts, including leading tourism and hospitality clients. This is a highly strategic, hands‑on role for someone who can take in complex information from senior clients and distill it into clear, compelling, creator‑first strategies that reflect both brand ambition and cultural authenticity. You will be responsible for setting the standard of creative strategy excellence in the region, from leading proactive proposals to shaping new business pitches. As our first strategy hire in the Middle East, this role offers a rare opportunity to define what success looks like and grow Influencer’s strategic offering across the Middle East. Being the founding strategic hire in the region, defining what best‑in‑class creator strategy looks like for MENA. Using your regional cultural knowledge - from key calendar moments to local creators and audience behaviours - to build authentic, insight‑led strategies that drive measurable impact. Measures of success In the first few months, you would have : Led strategic responses across key regional accounts, embedding a high standard of culturally relevant, creator‑first thinking. Delivered winning new business strategies for major tourism and destination brands. Built strong relationships with internal teams in the Middle East and Europe. Developed and implemented consistent regional workflows and standards for creative strategy delivery. Roles & Responsibilities Lead and be accountable for your stream of creative and strategic output for both existing and new business clients in the Middle East. Deliver best‑in‑class strategic output that is insight‑driven, culturally relevant, and grounded in a deep understanding of creators, platforms, and audiences. Translate complex client objectives into clear, concise, creator‑first strategic narratives that inspire creative and client teams alike. Partner with sales leads to proactively develop new business proposals, regional frameworks, and thought leadership tailored to the Middle East. Build strategies rooted in cultural intelligence - leveraging understanding of local audience behaviours, key regional moments (Ramadan, National Days, etc), and emerging creator trends. Develop a deep knowledge of local creators, communities, and brands, ensuring ideas are authentic, inclusive, and representative of the region’s diverse cultures. Pitch work to both new and existing clients, framing strategy and creative work into compelling, visually engaging narratives. Represent Influencer across the region, attending client meetings, immersions, and on‑the‑ground experiences to better understand each destination and brand ecosystem. Work cross‑functionally with creative, production, and media teams to ensure ideas are commercially viable and platform‑native. Help build and codify Influencer’s strategic IP in the region through playbooks, templates, and training that scale insight‑led, culturally connected, creator‑first thinking. What you will need6+ years’ experience in a strategy or creative strategy role at a creative, social or digital agency. Demonstrated experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sectors (e.g. tourism boards, hotels, airlines or destination brands). Deep cultural understanding of the Middle East market, including consumer behaviours, regional events, and local social trends. A strong network or working knowledge of regional creators and influencer ecosystems across Saudi Arabia and the UAE. A creator‑first mindset, with deep understanding of how creators influence perception and drive measurable outcomes. Proven ability to distill complex client challenges into clear, actionable strategies and creative platforms. Strong storytelling and presentation design skills, with ability to build visually engaging decks. Exceptional communication and client‑facing skills, confident leading senior stakeholder discussions. A proactive, autonomous approach to work, comfortable operating independently while collaborating across time zones.
