This position involves close collaboration with internal teams, consultants and site teams to deliver accurate and fully coordinated drawings and oversee implementation on-site. The Lead Architect supports the Design Manager and Principal Architect in maintaining the highest standards of architectural quality and compliance throughout the project lifecycle. Requirements Minimum 8-10 years of experience in architectural practice with strong technical delivery backgroundProven track record working on large-scale residential or mixed-use developments in the UAEExpert knowledge of Shop Drawing production, coordination, and review processesStrong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM coordination toolsIn-depth understanding of UAE building codes, regulations, and authority approval processesExtensive experience coordinating with MEP, structural, and façade consultantsDemonstrated ability to manage drawing packages from design through construction stagesExperience conducting site inspections and resolving on-site technical issuesStrong understanding of construction methodologies and buildabilityExcellent attention to detail with rigorous QA/QC approachStrong communication skills for stakeholder and contractor coordinationAbility to work under pressure and deliver to tight project deadlinesBachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (mandatory)Professional registration or accreditation (preferred)Fluency in English (Arabic is an advantage) Responsibilities Lead the development and production of architectural drawings, including Shop Drawings, during the design, schematic and detailed design stagesEnsure drawings accurately reflect the design intent, project requirements and regulatory standardsCoordinate with consultants, MEP engineers, structural teams and other stakeholders for drawing integrationConduct technical reviews of all architectural documentation for precision and clarityReview and validate Shop Drawings submitted by contractors and consultants, ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standardsIdentify and resolve any inconsistencies or clashes in coordination with relevant stakeholdersEnsure timely delivery of design packages and revisions in line with project timelinesOversee the transition from design to construction, ensuring the correct implementation of Shop Drawings on-siteAttend site visits, inspections and coordination meetings to monitor progress and resolve design-related issuesProvide technical support to site teams and ensure alignment with design expectationsEnsure all architectural work complies with local codes, authority regulations and company quality standardsSupport the Design Manager in submitting documentation for permits and approvals as neededParticipate in design QA/QC processes and ensure consistency in drawing outputs and formatsCollaborate with the Design Manager, Principal Architect and wider team to support architectural excellenceProvide guidance on technical challenges to other team members if requiredPerform any other ad hoc duties or special projects as assigned by the Principal Architect or Design Director #J-18808-Ljbffr
