ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate the shipment of goods and materials for our clientsWork closely with carriers, trucking companies, and other transportation providers to ensure timely delivery of goodsTrack shipments and maintain accurate records of all transactionsCommunicate with clients regarding shipment status, delays, or issues that may ariseHandle customs clearance procedures for international shipmentsNegotiate rates with carriers to ensure cost-effective transportation solutions for our clientsMonitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supply levelsManage all documentation related to shipping including invoices, bills of lading, and export paperworkEnsure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standardsRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics or related field preferredMinimum of 2 years experience in a logistics coordination roleStrong knowledge of transportation processes, customs regulations, and shipping documentationProficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with logistics software preferredExcellent communication skills in English; additional language skills are a plusStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectivelyDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracyAbility to work independently as well as part of a teamThis is a contract position without accommodation provided. We welcome candidates without prior experience in logistics as we are willing to train the right candidate. However, having a biometric passport will be an advantage due to the nature of our business.
