We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Reinsurance Manager to join our dynamic team within the financial services sector. This position is based in Dubai, UAE, and is ideal for a candidate who possesses a robust understanding of reinsurance principles and practices. The Reinsurance Manager will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our reinsurance programs, ensuring that our organization effectively mitigates risk while maximizing profitability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing and maintaining relationships with reinsurers, brokers, and other stakeholders in the industry. Responsibilities Develop and implement reinsurance strategies that align with the company's risk appetite and business objectives. Analyze and assess the company's insurance portfolio to identify potential areas for reinsurance coverage and optimization. Negotiate terms and conditions with reinsurers to secure favorable reinsurance agreements. Monitor and evaluate the performance of reinsurance contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Collaborate with underwriting teams to provide insights and recommendations on risk management and reinsurance solutions. Prepare and present detailed reports on reinsurance activities, trends, and performance metrics to senior management. Manage relationships with external partners, including brokers and reinsurers, to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging trends in reinsurance and risk management. Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance and mentorship to enhance their skills and knowledge in reinsurance practices. Preferred Candidate Proven experience in reinsurance management or a related field, with a solid understanding of the reinsurance market and its dynamics. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess complex data and make informed decisions. Excellent negotiation and communication skills, capable of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing teams. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance issues related to reinsurance. Proficient in using reinsurance software and data analysis tools. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and challenges. A proactive approach to problem-solving and risk management.
