Job DescriptionTo monitor and system error troubleshooting, making sure the integrity and performance of the control systems at a high level of readiness. Coordinate and liaise with maintenance disciplines to enhance the systems based on performance requirements to ensure satisfaction and business continuity. The responsibility covers facilities at distribution terminals & depots, LPG plants, fleet, military depots, aviation, plant equipment & asset, service stations, in all regions including Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, DAF, and NE that includes 12 depots & plants, and more than 540 service stations.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain availability of plant automation systems on multiple platforms, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and distributed control systems (DCS) through regular checks and periodic monitoring.Decipher process requirements through regular meetings and analyze complex systems development or modification issues and communicate with relevant stakeholders.Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional associations.Participate in troubleshoot/diagnose, modify, and repair automation and network hardware, software, and communications problems and prepare upgrade/replacement plans.Develops and maintains accurate documentation, monitoring reports, logs, and files.
