Senior Structural Engineer

ResponsibilitiesSupervise and manage the construction of structural elements on various projects ensuring compliance with design specifications building codes and safety standardsReview and approve structural shop drawings material submittals and construction methodologiesConduct regular site inspections to monitor construction progress and qualityIdentify and resolve structural engineering issues that arise during constructionCollaborate with project managers architects and other engineering disciplines to ensure project successPrepare and review technical reports including structural calculations and analysisMentor and guide junior engineers fostering their professional developmentLiaise with clients contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure project requirements are metImplement and maintain quality control procedures for structural engineering activitiesStay updated on industry trends innovative construction techniques and local building regulationsQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering (Masters degree preferred)Minimum 10 years of experience in structural engineering with a focus on construction supervisionAdvanced knowledge of structural engineering principles and practicesStrong understanding of international and local building codes and standardsExcellent project management skills including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyProven track record of successfully managing complex structural projectsAdditional Information :About AECOMAECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
