Milliman currently provides actuarial and consulting services to insurers, government entities and other stakeholders across the GCC countries.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform actuarial analysis and modelling on healthcare data.Development and analysis of experience studies and actuarial assumptions.Write reports that explain technical concepts clearly to a non-technical audience.Prepare and present results and recommendations to clients for consideration.Liaise with key client contacts to obtain required data and information to deliver project requirements.Support other actuarial students in the completion of technical aspects of actuarial projects.Ensure adherence to Milliman's policies and processes throughout all activities.Educational RequirementsAn undergraduate degree pursuing actuarial science, mathematics, or another major with quantitative coursework.Associate or Part-qualified actuary, with strong progress with Actuarial exams.Outstanding academic record.Strong IT skills particularly in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) and any statistical analysis tools (SAS, SQL, R, etc).Experience and Skill RequirementsMinimum of 1‑3 years of actuarial experience with a substantial part of the experience in health‑related work.Superior math aptitude and strong analytical ability.Experience with reserving and pricing techniques for health insurance products.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Self‑motivated individual with a sense of intellectual curiosity and a results‑oriented work ethic.Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionFinance and SalesIndustriesBusiness Consulting and Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
