Dubai, United Arab Emirates Employment Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Executive / Senior Leadership Work Arrangement: On-site / Hybrid Are you a strategic data leader who can turn complex information into measurable business value? We're looking for an accomplished Director of Data & Analytics to define enterprise data strategy, lead high-performing analytics teams, and drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and execute the enterprise-wide data and analytics strategy. Lead Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science, and reporting functions. Build scalable data platforms, pipelines, warehouses, and analytics solutions. Establish strong data governance, quality, security, privacy, and management frameworks. Partner with senior leadership to identify high-impact data and analytics opportunities. Oversee dashboards, reporting, predictive analytics, and advanced business insights. Drive the adoption of AI, machine learning, automation, and emerging data technologies. Define data and analytics KPIs and communicate strategic insights to executive stakeholders. Manage data-related budgets, projects, technology partners, and external vendors. Ensure data architecture and analytics capabilities support long-term business objectives. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and revenue through data. Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing data and analytics teams. Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend innovative data solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field. 8+ years of progressive experience in data, analytics, BI, or data science leadership. Proven experience developing and executing enterprise data strategies. Strong knowledge of data architecture, cloud platforms, BI tools, and analytics technologies. Understanding of AI/ML, predictive analytics, data governance, and data security. Excellent strategic thinking, communication, and executive stakeholder-management skills. Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams. Strong commercial awareness and ability to connect data initiatives with business outcomes. Relevant professional certifications are an advantage. UAE or GCC experience is highly desirable.
