Job Details Position Title: Finance Assistant Reports to: Finance Manager Division: Finance Department: Finance Grade: Not specified Functional Accountabilities – Key ActivitiesHandle daily cash and cheque deposits Fill payment vouchers and duty free sheets Visit the post office on a weekly basis Process cheque payments and transfer for signature Conduct foreign currency transactions Maintain record keeping and reporting Process transaction scans, returns, exchanges, and issue receiptsCustomer and Reporting & CommunicationInternal: Reporting Managers and Supervisors of Departments External: Police, Customs, and suppliers Verify goods and FTI items for custom clearance to ensure smooth operationsSafety Accountability and ResponsibilitiesComply with safety requirements and procedures outlined in the Aerodrome Operations Manual and Safety Management System Adhere to safety requirements detailed within training Report any safety occurrence or system failure to Head of Department and Airport Duty Officer team Submit Accident/Incident Reports where applicable Support safety audits and investigations as they occurCompetenciesBehavioural Competencies:Team Player (Medium) Confidential (High) Articulate, analytical and problem solver (High) Fluency in English (Medium)Technical Competencies:Cash Management (High) Computer & Software skills (Medium) Documentation & Record keeping (High)Qualifications Educational Qualifications: Minimum intermediate standard education required.
