Experience in commissioning and field inspections of buildings systems is a plus.ResponsibilitiesConsult on project specific requirements and basis of design documentsReview HVAC design documentation including drawings specifications and controls sequencesReview Smoke control approachesPerform submittal reviewsDocument and maintain well written reports on project related activitiesCommunicate effectively and establish relationships with clients and job-related management teamsProviding cross-functional support to ensure client needs and internal timelines/project activities are completedMaintain detailed documents and progression of work from initial proposal through completionPresent project related technical information to clients and design teamsOccasional presentation of white papercase studies to in-house technical teamsAttend in-house seminars and scheduled team meetingsMaintain established utilization levelsSupport junior technicians or entry level staffField verify life safety systems is installed as per the drawings and specificationsPerform all other duties as assigned by your supervisor or managerQualificationsBachelors degree in Fire Protection Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldMinimum of 10years of experience in fire protection engineering with a focus on nuclear facilitiesProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferredCertified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) certification preferredExtensive knowledge of fire protection systems design analysis and implementation in nuclear environmentsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software for system design and documentationExperience with fire modeling software and risk assessment techniquesStrong understanding of nuclear industry regulations and standards including familiarity with Indian nuclear regulationsIn-depth knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (e.g. NFPA IEEE)Comprehensive understanding of nuclear power plant systems and operationsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong attention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teamsAbility to work in a high-pressure environment and respond to emergency situationsWillingness to travel to various nuclear facilities as neededRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time
