Key Responsibilities
Perform reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures in line with accepted clinical standards, patient safety requirements, and surgical best practices.
Conduct detailed consultations to assess patient needs, medical history, anatomical considerations, treatment goals, and suitability for surgical intervention.
Provide preoperative planning, risk assessment, informed consent discussions, and individualized surgical postoperative care that supports recovery, wound healing, pain control, complication prevention, and patient a range of plastic surgery cases including reconstructive procedures, aesthetic surgery, corrective interventions, scar revision, and soft tissue‑related surgical concerns.
Collaborate with other physicians, nurses, anesthesiologists, operating room teams, and allied healthcare professionals to create complete treatment plans.
Educate patients on procedure options, realistic outcomes, recovery timelines, potential risks, aftercare instructions, and long‑term maintenance.
Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes, consent documentation, follow‑up reports, and clinical records in accordance with medical standards.
Stay updated with advancements in plastic surgery techniques, medical technology, patient safety standards, and modern reconstructive and cosmetic practices.
Participate in medical conferences, training programs, clinical learning activities, and continuing professional development.
Use medical software and healthcare technology effectively for documentation, clinical review, imaging support, and treatment ethical surgical practice, patient confidentiality, cultural sensitivity, and evidence‑based decision‑making in every consultation and procedure.
Ideal ProfileMedical degree from an accredited institution.
Board certification in Plastic Surgery.
Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Plastic Surgeon.
Proven experience in reconstructive and cosmetic plastic surgery procedures.
Strong knowledge of surgical techniques, patient assessment, operative planning, postoperative care, and complication management.
Confident in counseling patients on aesthetic and reconstructive treatment choices with clear explanation of benefits, limitations, and risks.
Skilled in multidisciplinary collaboration with anesthesiology, nursing, operating theatre, wound care, and specialist medical teams.
Proficient in using medical software, digital records, imaging review tools, and modern clinical technology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, calm, and empathetic approach.
