Overview of the Role To support the QA Manager in delivering the department objectives and supervise lab & materials testing. Responsibilities Implement procedures for laboratory management. Identify project testing requirements. Prepare testing schedules as per project specifications/contract requirements. Liaise with operations team for project testing requirements and frequency of testing. Prepare specimens and ensure integrity for testing. Select and liaise with external laboratories. Check the accuracy and integrity of internal and external laboratory results prior to submission to the client. Ensure laboratory testing is carried out in accordance with relevant standards. Establish documents and implement calibration programme. Select and identify laboratory instruments. Ensure procedures and forms are implemented and traceable for the project dossier. Job‑Specific Skills Planning & Organising Achieving and Doing Building Relationships Delivery through People Business Awareness Customer Focus Contributing to Continuous Improvement Dealing with Change Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge BSc, Diploma or equivalent in science; minimum 3 years studies. Understanding of materials and testing. Understanding of BS, ASTM and international standards. Experience in construction material testing. Minimum Experience Minimum 5 years experience.
