The Procurement Supervisor at Lamprell is a critical position in ensuring that projects are supplied with the right materials, on time, and within budget. This role supports the Procurement Manager in executing procurement strategies and coordinating best practices across the supply chain. As a supervisor, you’ll oversee a team of buyers, manage vendor relationships, and collaborate with engineering, project management, QA/QC, and accounting teams. This procurement role provides exposure to large-scale energy projects and offers professional growth in vendor management, international standards compliance, and strategic procurement. Ensuring all materials meet required standards and specifications and are fit for purpose. Procuring materials from competitive vendors based on quality, delivery, and cost while optimizing the budget. Ensuring materials and documentation are delivered on schedule. Collaborating with internal teams (Engineering, Project Management, Operations, QA/QC, Accounting, Proposals) and external suppliers. Understanding international standards, codes, and regulations, and coordinating with engineering teams on technical requirements. Conducting vendor visits to evaluate capabilities and maintain strong supplier relationships. Developing and maintaining a vendor base, including non-traditional suppliers, and supporting the Approved Vendor List. Managing the RFQ process and reviewing purchase orders for specifications, payment terms, certification, unit price, VDRs, and country of origin. Administering bid pricing processes in coordination with Bids & Proposals and Procurement Managers. Participating in monthly market watch reports and purchase order close-outs. Ensuring compliance with HSES and information security policies. Requirements To qualify for this Procurement Supervisor role, candidates should have: 15–18 years of experience in EPCI projects in offshore or onshore oil & gas, including at least 5 years in a supervisory role. A bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in any relevant discipline. Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and international standards.
