Job Purpose To carry out day‑to‑day hatchery operations including egg setting, monitoring, hatching, chick handling, and sanitation. Ensuring the highest standards of animal welfare, cleanliness, and precision. Your calm, careful hands will help bring new life into the world, ethically, safely, and proudly. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in all stages of hatchery operations including egg setting, transfer, candling, hatching, and chick take‑off. Handle eggs and chicks gently to prevent damage, stress, or contamination. Monitor and record temperature, humidity, CO₂, and equipment readings with full accuracy. Conduct visual checks for fertility, breakage, and contamination; report abnormalities immediately. Support chick counting, grading, and vaccination procedures. Maintain clean incubators, hatchers, trays, and all work areas throughout the shift. Dispose of hatch waste according to approved biosecurity procedures. Follow strict shower‑in/shower‑out and PPE protocols. Assist with egg and chick traceability records for each batch. Report any deviation in hatching or welfare to the Hatchery Supervisor immediately.Who You AreYou’re patient, gentle, and precise. Never rushed, never careless. Data Entry Accuracy – 100% correct records and logbooks. Attendance – ≥ 98% shift attendance.Work ConditionsTemperature‑ and humidity‑controlled hatchery environment. Exposure to moderate noise and humidity levels. Strict biosecurity and hygiene protocols at all times.
