Senior Specialist in Pediatric ER

SearchPlus HR is proud to announce an exciting opportunity for a Senior Specialist in Pediatric Emergency Medicine to join a leading government facility. Key Responsibilities Lead the assessment, diagnosis, and management of pediatric patients in emergency situations. Oversee the stabilization and treatment of critically ill or injured children. Implement advanced clinical protocols and ensure compliance with government health regulations. Conduct necessary emergency procedures and interventions as needed. Provide mentorship and support to junior staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Engage in communications with patients' families, providing necessary information and emotional support. Maintain accurate medical documentation in alignment with government standards and best practices. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education programs. Qualifications MD/DO degree with completed residency in Pediatrics and fellowship in Pediatric Emergency Medicine. Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is required. Active medical license in the relevant state or jurisdiction, particularly for government practice. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency setting, with leadership experience preferred. Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with medical teams and families. Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities. Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement in clinical practices. Familiarity with electronic medical records and compliance standards specific to government facilities.
