Job Type
Full-timeResponsibilitiesPrepare surfaces such as plaster, metal, wood, and drywall by cleaning, sanding, patching, and applying primers or sealants.
Select, mix, and match paints and finishes according to color specifications and surface requirements.
Apply paint, varnish, and stain using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment for both interior and exterior areas.
Perform plastering, patching, and small drywall repair work prior to painting.
Erect scaffolding or ladders safely and maintain compliance with all site safety standards.
Protect furniture, flooring, and surrounding areas from paint splashes and damage.
Keep all painting tools and materials properly maintained and organized.
Estimate paint quantities, time, and materials required for projects.
Maintain detailed records of tasks, materials used, and time spent for reporting purposes.
Support maintenance and repair projects across various GMG properties as required.
QualificationsMinimum 2 years of hands-on painting experience in commercial, residential, or retail environments.
Proficient in color mixing, surface preparation, and finishing techniques.
Ability to work efficiently at heights and handle painting tools and equipment safely.
Physically fit and capable of performing manual maintenance work.
Strong eye for detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Team-oriented with good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
