Job DescriptionAn Infection Control Manager is a vital role within healthcare systems, tasked with overseeing the development and implementation of infection prevention and control protocols. This position requires a deep understanding of infection control principles, healthcare policies, and the ability to analyze and respond to infection risks. The Infection Control Manager is responsible for coordinating with various departments to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and regulations. This role involves not just management but also education and support to healthcare staff and occasionally to patients and visitors, ensuring a safe environment for all. Communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure are essential attributes for success in this role.
