KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Configure core OCI services including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Identity & Access Management (IAM)Develop cloud architecture aligned with business and technical requirementsLead migration of on-premise or legacy systems to OCIPlan and execute lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or cloud-native migration strategiesEnsure minimal downtime and business continuity during migrationsSecurity & GovernanceImplement OCI security best practices including IAM policies, network security, and data protectionEnsure compliance with organizational and regulatory standardsPerform security assessments and recommend improvementsAutomation & DevOpsDevelop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or similar toolsImplement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processesSupport DevOps practices for continuous integration and deliveryPerformance & OptimizationMonitor system performance and optimize cloud resources for cost and efficiencyTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issuesEnsure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategiesStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholdersProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team membersPrepare technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer sessionsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field7-12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or consultingStrong hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI)Experience in cloud migration and deployment projectsTechnical SkillsOCI services: Compute, VCN, Load Balancer, Object Storage, Block StorageIdentity & Access Management (IAM) and security configurationsNetworking concepts (VPN, FastConnect, subnets, routing)Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as CodeKnowledge of Linux/Unix and scripting (Shell, Python)Familiarity with CI/CD tools and DevOps practicesPreferred SkillsOracle Cloud certifications (OCI Architect / Professional)Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure)Knowledge of containers (Docker, Kubernetes)Understanding of database services (Oracle DB, Autonomous DB)
