Faculty Position in PsychiatryWe invite applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Psychiatry. The successful candidate will join our department as an educator and researcher, contributing to patient care and advancing psychiatric knowledge.About the RoleThis is a full-time academic appointment, teaching undergraduate medical students and conducting research in mental health and neurosciences.The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching, clinical practice, and research, with a strong track record in curriculum development and student mentorship.ResponsibilitiesTeach psychiatric theory, clinical practice, and behavioural sciences to undergraduate medical students.Develop and maintain research projects in mental health and neurosciences, collaborating with colleagues and international partners.Provide clinical services at a consultant level, contributing to patient care in affiliated hospitals.Contribute to educational and administrative functions within the college.QualificationsThe successful candidate will have:An MD or MBBS degree and certification of specialisation in psychiatry from a recognised institution.Demonstrated experience in teaching, clinical care, and research in psychiatry.A strong background in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, curriculum development, and student mentorship.Desirable SkillsSubspecialty training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, General Adult Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, or Neuropsychiatry.Experience in international medical examinations and accreditation processes.BenefitsThis is a stimulating academic environment that offers opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.
