We are currently seeking a highly skilled HVAC Estimation Engineer.You’ll be tasked to carry out preliminary engineering & estimation for the HVAC works in Living Quarters and Machinery spaces for Refurbishment, Upgrades & New building on board Vessels, Rigs & Platforms. Job ObjectiveTo ensure that the quality of service and tasks responsible for and undertaken are in accordance with Industry Legislative Requirements and Company Policy, Procedure and adopted Standards. To participate in the overall delivery and implementation of the Company objectives in high accuracy, compliance with applicable standards and higher satisfaction. All Operational procedures shall be in line with Company standards and individual project requirements. Effective safety measures must take into account from the MODUTEC specific structures and processes related safety measures. Able to think critically are able to solve problems effectively.ResponsibilitiesEstablishing good working relationships with all managers and supervisors to ensure that information is readily available so that all enquiries and tenders can be responded to efficiently. Acting as a liaison between the company and client for the purpose of clarification of tenders/enquiries. The receipt, distribution and disposition of all enquiries and invitations to tender received by MODUTEC including:a) Estimating the cost of all received enquiries /tenders received using established Excel spreadsheet models. b) Site surveysAny other duty which, from time to time, may reasonably be required to meet the needs of Modutec and is within the remit of this post and/or Job Holders capabilities Apply Modutec QHSE Procedures in their daily activities and report any non-conformances or suggested improvements to Line Manager, Senior Management, and/or the QHSE Department. Ensure full awareness of all aspects and procedures within the Internal Management System and subsequent updates Fully support all aspects of the Modutec Company Values at all timesCompliance with commitment to:Modutec Policies and ProceduresRequirementsA Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent estimating experience within Mechanical/HVAC Engineering or fabrication is preferred Experience of using and manipulating computer based estimating models Experience in compiling and presenting tender responses.
