The Storekeeper will oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and ensure accurate record-keeping to maintain stock levels. This role is essential for supporting efficient production flow, ensuring that all necessary materials are available as needed, and upholding strong inventory management practices. • Key Responsibilities: Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and supplies, verifying their quality and quantity. Organize and store items in designated locations for easy retrieval and maintain orderliness in storage areas. Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering to prevent shortages and support uninterrupted production. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate inventory records in the inventory management system. Prepare and dispatch materials for production, adhering to work orders and schedules. Collaborate with procurement, production, and quality control teams to ensure stock accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Implement and adhere to health and safety guidelines within the storage area. • Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory management is a plus. Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar inventory-related role within a manufacturing or industrial setting. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in inventory management software and basic computer skills. Ability to lift and move heavy items, adhering to safety protocols. • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with ERP or inventory management systems. Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate effectively with team members across departments.
