Role ContextThe Senior Financial Analyst will support the Senior Finance Manager in managing corporate finance, treasury, funding, liquidity, and financial risk activities across ten entities within the Financial Services Division. The role combines detailed financial analysis with practical treasury execution. Reliable forecasting, funding structure optimization, covenant monitoring, cash visibility, and asset liability management will help the business maintain sufficient liquidity while reducing financing costs and protecting financial resilience. Working with business units, banks, the Global Treasury Centre, and senior finance stakeholders, the analyst will provide financial information that supports capital allocation, funding decisions, and balance sheet ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial models and consolidated projections supporting strategic planning, funding decisions, and cost accurate Direct Cash Flow forecasts aligned with annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts.
Analyze balance sheet movements, cash flows, financing costs, and liquidity positions to identify opportunities for improvement.
Assess capital and funding structures and recommend opportunities to improve returns while reducing financing expenses.
Evaluate the funding implications of capital expenditure, portfolio changes, and other strategic funding transactions with the Global Treasury Centre and relevant internal stakeholders.
Monitor capital adequacy and liquidity positions and provide timely information for management decisions.
Prepare and review bi-weekly cash flow forecasts across relevant business entities.
Track debt limits, financial covenants, and facility conditions and highlight potential breaches before they occur.
Improve working capital efficiency through liquidity optimization, cash reallocation, and intercompany funding current visibility of available cash to support operational requirements and debt servicing commitments.
Coordinate with the Global Treasury Centre on bank relationships, facility limits, and treasury dashboards showing facility utilization, funding costs, liquidity levels, and other treasury performance implementation of asset and liability management strategies in accordance with ALCO guidelines.
Prepare analysis of asset liability mismatches for ALCO reviews and management reporting.
Monitor capital, liquidity, and interest rate exposure through financial risk analysis and stress testing.
Assist with development of funding strategies and balance sheet optimization objectives.
Manage accounting procedures associated with debt and equity funding transactions.
Support preparation of divisional financial plans, policies, fiscal records, and internal funding approvals.
Ensure treasury and financing activities comply with internal policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
Develop service-level agreements governing treasury activities with business units.
Support ALCO policy development and monitor compliance with approved governance requirements.
Review banking and treasury documentation against Delegation of Authority requirements.
Perform KYC-related coordination and maintain current documentation with banking partners.
Ideal ProfileCandidates should hold a qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline and have approximately 2-5 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, banking, or financial services. Professional qualifications such as MBA, ACCA, CA, CIMA, or CFA will strengthen suitability for the role. Strong financial modeling and analytical capability is essential, particularly in cash flow forecasting, liquidity assessment, funding analysis, balance sheet management, and financial risk evaluation. Candidates should understand financial markets, foreign exchange, treasury accounting, financial instruments, liquidity risk, and funding structures. Advanced Excel capability is required, together with practical experience using Power BI for reporting and financial visualization. Familiarity with SAP BPC and Anaplan is particularly important for planning and consolidation activities. The preferred professional will be comfortable coordinating with multiple business entities, senior finance teams, banks, and treasury stakeholders while maintaining accurate financial information and disciplined governance.
