In this exciting role, you will focus on applying expertise in Fragrance Technology to support our clients and internal teams. You will report to the Senior Technology Manager for Middle East & Africa and you will be based in our Dubai office. You will be working for the market leader that is at the forefront of innovation in an industry of emotions. In this exciting role, you will: Maintain a safe, clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EHS guidelines Serve as a technical contact point for defined projects, collaborating across functions and with customers to ensure continuity of support Flag potential resource or capability gaps in your own area of work Monitor costs and ensure efficient use of materials and tools Provide advanced technical support to Development / Commercial / S&T teams within assigned projects Project Management & External Collaboration Assist in preparing and delivering training sessions, demos, and customized promotional materials Contribute to innovation by identifying technical improvements Apply scientific expertise to support projects Apply smelling abilities to assess fragrance performance and contribute to technical olfactory assessments Share expertise and provide on‑the‑job guidance to Technicians to buildfunctional competencies Collaborate closely with Commercial and Development teams to provide technical expertise on fragrance technologies, ensuring alignment between customer needs and technical capabilities Actively support customer-related projects by participating in technical discussions, providing hands‑on demonstrations, and contributing to fragrance technology solutions Confidently present technology concepts, benefits, and results to clients and visitors (in person or remotely), representing the company’s technical expertise with clarity and professionalism You? Your professional profile includes: University degree in Chemistry or relevant scientific discipline Minimum 3 years of experience working in the fragrance or FMCG industry Extensive experience in project management Good knowledge of fragrance and/or FMCG science and technologies Ability to interpret experimental results, suggest next round of experiments and develop new methods Very good knowledge of lab equipment, materials and supplies needed to conduct scientific experiments Very good understanding of a scientific documentation protocol Good knowledge of EHS guidelines as they pertain to lab maintenance and operation Good communication and presentation skills Fluency in English is mandatory Ability to solve problems and learn quicklyBeing an effective team player Attractive package with benefits.
