Senior UX/UI Expert with 5+ years' experience in design strategy, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma, Miro, and Jira for enhanced user experience.Job Overview:As a Senior UX/UI Expert with 5+ years of experience, you will be responsible for driving design strategy and execution for our digital products. Your role will include analyzing user flows and interfaces of competitors, conducting user research, developing high-quality user flows and wireframes, and producing high-fidelity designs.You'll be using tools like Figma, Miro, and Jira to streamline processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure an exceptional user experience. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead design efforts and directly influence the user experience across multiple platforms.Key Responsibilities:Competitive Analysis & Benchmarking: Analyze user flows and UI/UX patterns from key competitors in local markets and across the industry. Conduct detailed benchmarking of top players' experiences, identify design trends, and assess how competitors approach user interfaces and user journeys. Provide actionable insights from your analysis to inform product design and strategy.User Research & Insights: Lead user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to understand pain points, preferences, and behaviors. Synthesize research findings into actionable design solutions. Use insights to validate design hypotheses, iterate on designs, and optimize user flows for better user engagement and conversion.User Flow & Journey Mapping: Design comprehensive user flows for mobile apps, websites, and USSD channels, ensuring that all user scenarios are accounted for. Map out user journeys using Miro to visually represent how users navigate across different touchpoints, providing clarity to the product and development teams. Develop clear, intuitive flows that balance user needs with business objectives.Data Flow & Information Architecture: Prepare and document data flows to define how data interacts within the system, ensuring smooth and intuitive interactions for the user. Collaborate with backend teams to ensure designs align with data architecture and technical constraints.High-Fidelity Prototyping & UI Design: Create high-fidelity prototypes and UI designs using Figma, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and optimizing for usability. Design detailed UI elements such as buttons, menus, and icons, ensuring they are user-friendly and visually cohesive. Provide developers with design specifications, assets, and interaction guidelines to ensure smooth development handover.Collaboration & Iteration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to refine designs based on feedback and technical constraints. Continuously iterate on designs based on user testing, feedback, and project goals. Participate in regular design reviews and refine solutions based on both team input and user data.Agile Design Process: Actively contribute to the agile development process using Jira to manage tasks, track progress, and ensure design solutions are delivered on time. Break down large design challenges into manageable tasks, working collaboratively to meet product deadlines.Mentorship & Leadership: Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and fostering a collaborative and innovative design culture.
