Job Description
Managing procurement for fresh fruits and vegetables obtained from all around, you as a Senior Buyer will head procurement. Managing a purchasing budget of AED 50 million, this function guarantees all purchases are strategically and effectively carried out. While keeping high standards, you will be in charge of arranging sourcing activities suited to company objectives.Your responsibility will include developing and nurturing close relationships with global providers. Using your negotiation abilities will get you good terms, affordable prices, and dependable supply networks. This covers ongoing evaluation of supplier performance and confirmation that contracts match the company’s long-term goals.A big component of your responsibilities will be managing overseas logistics and arranging worldwide supply of products. You will handle reefer container shipments, guaranteeing on-time deliveries and aggressively tackling logistics obstacles. With additional benefit if you bring experience in air imports, understanding of sea freight procedures is crucial.Quality and compliance: Central to your job will be making certain that fresh vegetables are of the best quality. You will help the quality assurance team check product standards, keep an eye on freshness, and guarantee compliance with world commerce rules. Better sourcing plans depend on a knowledge of seasonal changes.Financial supervision will be your responsibility with a sizable procurement budget to guarantee cost efficiency without sacrificing quality. You will frequently write reports, study purchasing patterns, and offer ideas to maximize expenses.
