SearchPlus HR is excited to offer a position for a Junior Consultant Pediatric Surgeon to join our dedicated team. In this early-career role, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced surgeons in providing surgical care for infants, children, and adolescents. This role is designed for a motivated individual who is eager to develop their skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.
As a Junior Consultant Pediatric Surgeon, you will assist in diagnosing surgical conditions, performing surgical procedures, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality pediatric care. You will also engage with patients and their families to provide education and support throughout the treatment process.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the evaluation and assessment of pediatric patients requiring surgical intervention.
- Participate in surgical procedures under the supervision of senior surgeons.
- Contribute to the development of treatment plans in collaboration with the surgical team.
- Provide postoperative care and monitor patients during their recovery.
- Engage with families to explain surgical procedures and postoperative care instructions.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case discussions, and educational activities to enhance professional development.
- Stay updated with advancements in pediatric surgery through continuous learning and participation in relevant training.
- M.D. or D.O. degree with completion of a residency in general surgery.
- Interest in pursuing a fellowship in pediatric surgery (or currently enrolled in a fellowship program).
- Active medical license in the respective state.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Desire for professional growth and active participation in continuing medical education.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
