Assistant / Associate Professor - Prosthodontics

Assistant/Associate Professor, Prosthodontics The College of Dentistry at Gulf Medical University has been providing high-quality dental education since its establishment in 2008. The faculty and staff are devoted to academia, professional development, research, and community service, and offer diverse programs to support students in achieving academic excellence. Key QualificationsA Doctoral degree (Ph.D., MD, Western/American qualification preferred) in prosthodontics (preferably with UAE practice license as a specialist). Advanced knowledge and skills in modern prosthodontics techniques, including aesthetic dentistry, implant prosthodontics (3 to 5 years of implant experience/preferable with implant privilege-UAE) and comprehensive cases that require interdisciplinary treatment. Proficiency in digital dentistry techniques, including CAD/CAM, digital scanning, digital smile design, different CAD design software, and digital workflow. Skills in developing and updating curriculum and implementing different teaching methodologies. Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback. Strong and consistent academic records including research publications in highly indexed journals.Key ResponsibilitiesEducate and mentor students in both practical and theoretical aspects of prosthodontics. Contribute to the development of cutting-edge curriculum and teaching methodologies. Engage in research and scholarly activities in the field of digital dentistry.
