Implement and maintain stringent quality control measures at every stage, minimizing defects and guaranteeing superior craftsmanship in all carpentry work.
Manage and mentor a team of carpenters, providing training, performance evaluations, and fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Manage inventory of raw materials, tools, and equipment, ensuring optimal stock levels, minimizing waste, and preventing downtime.
Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures, promoting a safe working environment and minimizing workplace accidents and injuries.
Maintain factory equipment, including machinery and tools, ensuring proper maintenance and timely repairs to maximize operational efficiency.
Negotiate with suppliers and vendors to procure materials and services at competitive prices, managing budgets and controlling costs effectively.
Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining a high level of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Desired Candidate ProfileHolds certifications in relevant areas such as safety, quality control, or project management, demonstrating commitment to professional standards.
Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in a carpentry factory environment, with a proven track record of successful project management.
Possesses a relevant degree or diploma in carpentry, wood technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in carpentry principles.
Demonstrates physical stamina and the ability to work in a factory environment, with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks.
Shows a strong work ethic, with a commitment to meeting deadlines, maintaining quality standards, and achieving operational goals.
