Job Title: Guest Room Booking SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Room Booking Specialist to join our team.This role involves coordinating all aspects of guest room reservations, ensuring seamless communication and timely processing of bookings.The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately inputting reservation details into our system, handling inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.Strong product knowledge and up-to-date familiarity with hotel promotions and facilities is essential in this role.The ability to maintain accurate room status at all times is crucial to the success of this position.Effective communication skills and attention to detail are also key requirements for this role.About This Role:This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the delivery of exceptional guest experiences.Key Responsibilities:Process and confirm guest room reservations made by clients via phone, letter, or fax.Input all reservations into the computer, recording all pertinent information and attend to inquiries, complaints, and requests regarding reservations.Remain up to date with all promotions in and around the hotel and follow established procedures to process all room reservations, rates, confirmations, hotel facilities, etc.Show complete product knowledge, understand rate structure and apply rate management.Maintain an accurate room status at all times.Ensure all incoming calls are answered as per standards, input information received by fax, and monitor incoming emails.Requirements:To succeed in this role, you will need:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Proficiency in computer software applications, particularly those used for reservation systems.Knowledge of hotel operations and services is desirable.What We Offer:In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary package, opportunities for career advancement, and a dynamic work environment that values innovation and teamwork.
