Manager, Quality Control – EDGEBe part of Caracal Light Ammunition's mission to deliver world‑class quality and safety. As the Manager of Quality Control, you will lead all quality control activities across the manufacturing facility, ensuring that materials, processes, and products meet stringent regulatory, safety, and performance standards. This role plays a key part in maintaining compliance, supporting operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement.Key AccountabilitiesLead the development and implementation of Quality Control systems, ensuring alignment with corporate standards, regulatory requirements, and international quality frameworks.Oversee QC activities for all incoming materials, in‑process inspections, and finished goods to ensure product conformity.Develop and execute quality strategies and improvement plans to enhance product quality and operational performance.Manage, train, and develop the QC team to ensure capability, compliance, and readiness to meet production needs.Ensure QC operations comply with ISO standards, GMP/QSR requirements, and internal SOPs.Represent CARACAL during audits, regulatory inspections, and customer quality assessments.Lead root‑cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for nonconformities and quality incidents.Oversee documentation control, including QC records, calibration logs, inspection reports, and batch release approvals.Monitor supplier performance and support supplier qualification and incoming inspection processes.Validate new equipment, systems, and processes impacting quality to ensure compliance.Maintain a calibration program for all QC and manufacturing measurement tools.Participate in risk assessments related to quality, safety, and environmental impact.Promote a culture of HSE compliance across all QC activities.Provide periodic reports on quality performance, KPIs, trends, and improvement actions to the Sr. SHEQ Manager.RequirementsGeneral CompetenciesStrong planning and organizational skillsAdvanced analytical and problem‑solving abilitiesEffective communication and teamworkHigh attention to detail and accountabilityLeadership and cross‑functional coordination skillsSpecific CompetenciesIn‑depth knowledge of ISO 9001 and Quality Management SystemsExpertise in SPC, quality tools, APQP, PPAPStrong understanding of engineering drawings and tolerancesKnowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologiesExperience with QC documentation and compliance systemsExperience & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related fieldLean or Six Sigma certification (Green Belt/Black Belt preferred)Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management within manufacturing or defenseStrong knowledge of QA systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirementsExperience leading teams and conducting auditsProficiency in MS Office and quality‑related systemsSeniority levelMid‑Senior levelEmployment typeFull‑timeJob functionQuality AssuranceIndustriesDefense and Space Manufacturing#J-18808-Ljbffr
