The advertised role sits within the Space42 Smart Solutions business unit, a leading provider of AI‑powered geospatial intelligence and smart mobility solutions in the UAE and beyond. Its focus spans two core domains:Earth Observation (EO): full EO value chain from satellite design and manufacturing to operations, ground segment management, data analytics, mapping and geospatial intelligence. Smart Mobility: development and commercialization of autonomous vehicle technologies and AI‑driven mobility platforms.At its core, Smart Solutions fuses space‑derived data and AI analytics to deliver decision intelligence to clients across sectors. Role Purpose As a Director – Growth, you will join the Growth Team within Space42 Smart Solutions, contributing to high‑impact strategic, commercial, and financial initiatives across the business unit. The role combines business plan development with fast‑turnaround analytical and strategic support to the COO and CEO, covering areas such as Earth Observation, Smart Mobility, and Artificial Intelligence. ResponsibilitiesOwn growth programs – conceptualization, rapid feasibility validation, detailed business plan development and incubation. Engage with business and technology experts to define scope, create estimates, develop budgets, project plans and documentation for funding approvals. Develop detailed business plans (strategic presentations and financial models) for new growth programs. Support go/no‑go evaluation of growth opportunities through market, competitive and financial analyses. Build investment cases and scenario models to support strategic decisions. Translate strategic initiatives into execution roadmaps, KPIs and financial outcomes. Play a direct or supportive role in incubation of key growth initiatives. Deliver fast‑turnaround analyses on high‑priority topics for COO or CEO. Conduct financial forecasting, valuation and sensitivity analyses for projects and potential partnerships. Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Finance, Engineering, AI, Mobility) to align operational progress with strategy. Support preparation of proposals, memos and presentations to external partners, government entities and investors. Serve as analytical and strategic support partner within the Growth Team, ensuring alignment across Smart Solutions’ initiatives. Work with Space42 Group functions (Strategy, Finance, Corporate Development and Operations) to assess new opportunities and synergies. Participate in due diligence and business case preparation for joint ventures, partnerships and investments relevant to Smart Solutions.Qualifications Professional Experience2–5 years in strategy consulting, investment banking/corporate finance or Strategy/Growth teams in corporate. Proven ability to independently develop business cases, financial models and strategic presentations. Prior exposure to technology, aerospace, AI or mobility industries preferred. Strong foundation in corporate finance, valuation and market analysis. Experience in the Middle East region is advantageous.Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel (high‑quality materials for senior leadership). Solid grounding in financial modeling, scenario analysis and data interpretation. Comfort with complex technical or analytical concepts (AI, EO, autonomous systems) and ability to translate into clear business narratives.Soft SkillsHighly analytical, structured thinker with strong attention to detail. Confident communicator with strong storytelling and stakeholder engagement skills. Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and deliver on tight deadlines. Excellent written and spoken English.EducationBachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Business, STEM.
