Requirements for CandidateValid driver’s licenseKnowledge of local roads and traffic lawsMinimum 2 years’ experience driving light vehiclesGood physical conditionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills in English or local language (Arabic)DutiesDrive vehicles safely with consideration for safety of passengers, pedestrians, and other drivers at all timesEnsure vehicle is serviced regularly, as per manufacturer's specificationsPerform daily safety checks on the vehicle before driving itEnsure that routes taken are efficient and cost effectiveLoad/unload goods or materials to/from the vehicleTrack mileage & fuel use throughout shiftsSkillsExcellent driving skills with an excellent safety recordTime management skills & ability to meet deadlinesAbility to read maps & GPS navigation systemsAbility to lift heavy goods when neededKnowledge of local areaProblem-solving abilities
