Salary:
28,000-42,000 AED per month (estimate, confirm with employer); Full-time PositionKey ResponsibilitiesLead architectural design and planning for stadiums, arenas, sports facilities, and large-scale venue projects from concept through construction integrated design solutions that balance structural coordination, visual quality, crowd management, circulation, accessibility, safety, and operational efficiency.
Prepare, review, and coordinate architectural drawings, layouts, plans, details, schedules, specifications, design reports, and presentation AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM workflows, and visualization tools to produce accurate design documentation and project models.
Manage design timelines, deliverables, budgets, resource planning, and technical quality across assigned project stages.
Coordinate with structural engineers, MEP teams, fire and life safety consultants, façade specialists, contractors, client representatives, and other stakeholders.
Review building codes, UAE construction regulations, safety standards, accessibility requirements, and international venue design guidelines.
Ensure stadium designs address spectator comfort, seating layouts, sightlines, acoustics, hospitality areas, back‑of‑house operations, emergency access, and evacuation routes.
Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, planning reviews, and design investigations to support project decisions.
Evaluate and incorporate sustainable design practices, energy‑efficient strategies, green building principles, and resilient design approaches into venue projects.
Prepare and present design proposals, technical updates, project reviews, and design options to clients, stakeholders, and senior management.
Monitor project progress and coordinate design responses during construction administration and site‑related design queries.
Identify design risks, technical conflicts, interface issues, and coordination gaps, then develop practical solutions with project teams.
Mentor junior architects, guide design team members, review their work, and support professional development within the architecture team.
Maintain high standards of design accuracy, documentation quality, project governance, and client service throughout the project lifecycle.
Support AECOM's multidisciplinary delivery model by contributing architectural expertise to major sports, leisure, public assembly, and building engineering projects.
Ideal ProfileBachelor degree in Architecture or a related architectural discipline.
Minimum 10 years of professional architectural design experience.
At least 5 years of experience focused on stadiums, arenas, sports facilities, or large-scale public assembly projects.
Strong expertise in stadium architecture, venue planning, crowd flow, seating bowl design, accessibility, safety, and operational planning.
Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM methodologies, and architectural visualization workflows.
Proven experience managing large-scale projects from design concept through construction knowledge of UAE construction requirements, building codes, safety standards, accessibility regulations, and international design standards.
Ability to coordinate complex multidisciplinary design packages with engineers, contractors, consultants, and client teams.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage timelines, budgets, deliverables, and multiple stakeholders.
Strong leadership capabilities with experience supervising, mentoring, and developing architectural teams.
Ability to prepare persuasive design presentations, technical documentation, reports, and client‑facing understanding of sustainable design, green building principles, and future‑ready sports facility planning.
High attention to detail with strong technical judgment, problem‑solving ability, and design quality awareness.
