Job Title: Strategic Financial DirectorWe are seeking an experienced and visionary leader to drive our financial strategy, fueling growth, scalability, profitability, and investment goals across all business units.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive financial strategy, overseeing annual budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting, and scenario modelling to align financial plans with organisational objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy & Planning: Lead the development of a forward-thinking financial strategy to support business growth, leveraging data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions.Oversee the creation of annual budgets, long-range plans, forecasts, and scenario models to ensure financial alignment with organisational goals.Identify areas of financial risk and opportunity, providing clear, actionable recommendations to executive leadership.Financial Reporting & Compliance: Ensure accurate, timely preparation of monthly management accounts, consolidated group financials, and statutory reports.Lead and oversee the audit process, ensuring compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and governance standards.Implement and maintain robust internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.Treasury, Cash Flow & Capital Management: Manage group treasury functions, including cash flow planning, working capital optimisation, banking, and financing relationships.Oversee budgeting and capital allocation to support operational needs, strategic growth initiatives, and technology investments.Leadership & Financial Operations: Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.Oversee financial operations, including accounting, tax, financial systems, payroll coordination, and accounts management.Drive finance process improvements, automation, and technology adoption to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.Business Partnering & Strategic Advisory: Partner with executive leadership to translate financial insights into actionable business strategies.Provide commercial and investment analysis to support mergers & acquisitions, business transformations, product launches, and expansion decisions.Present financial performance, forecasts, risk assessments, and capital plans to executive leadership and stakeholders.
