As the head of engineering, you will play a critical role in designing and developing our trading systems, driving the technical strategy behind our real-time decision-making and execution capabilities.This is an exciting opportunity to lead high-performing teams, drive innovation, and shape the future of energy trading.About The RoleLead engineering efforts focused on scaling and optimizing our trading systems across multiple energy marketsBuild and maintain integrations with exchanges and data providersDevelop new and improve existing proprietary trading technology for risk management, P&L tracking, and weather forecastingEnsure seamless integration between trading operations and retail customer platforms (usage data, billing, tariff management)Work closely with quants and traders, putting trading strategies into production and building new toolsMentor and grow a high-performing team of engineersRequirementsProven track record as a senior software engineer, tech lead, or engineering manager within trading5+ years of experience as a software engineer, including 2+ years in a technical leadership roleHands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and event-driven architecturesStrong understanding of trading system architecture, including market data ingestion, execution engines, pricing, and risk systemsTrack record of setting technical vision and aligning engineering initiatives with broader business goalsBenefitsCompetitive salary and bonus schemeFully expensed equipmentPaid annual leaveBreakfast and dinner for office-based employees
