The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods using a trailer. This includes unloading and loading the trailer, verifying cargo against paperwork, and driving the trailer in compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate must have a valid driver’s license, a good driving record, and experience driving trailers. We especially welcome applications from African nationals who are English speakers.
Key responsibilities
include:Operating a trailer safely and efficientlyLoading and unloading cargo according to safety regulationsInspecting and maintaining the trailer regularlyEnsuring accurate paperwork is completed during loading/unloading processAdhering to traffic laws and following established road safety guidelinesMaintaining logbooks for each trip according to company policyTroubleshooting vehicle issues or reporting them to management as needed
