Draftsman – Dubai, United Arab Emirates The Armored Group (TAG) a global leader in armored vehicle manufacturing is looking to fill a Draftsman position within our Engineering team in Dubai. As a Draftsman you will be responsible for preparing technical drawings and plans used in the design and manufacturing of armored civilian and industrial vehicle components. You will work closely with engineers and designers to ensure precision and compliance with industry standards. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to high‑quality innovative vehicle designs in a fast‑paced technical environment. Technical Drafting CAD Software Proficiency Attention to Detail Collaboration & Communication Problem Solving Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed technical drawings and blueprints for armored civilian and industrial vehicle components using CAD software. Modify and revise existing designs to meet engineering specifications and client requirements. Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards, company guidelines and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure feasibility and manufacturability of designs. Maintain an organized and up‑to‑date database of drawings and design records. Support prototype development by providing technical documentation and assisting in design adjustments. Review and interpret engineering sketches, specifications and related data for drafting requirements.Required QualificationsBachelor Degree or Higher Diploma or Bachelors degree in Drafting, Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Draftsman in an automotive, industrial or manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar.Preferred QualificationsExperience in armored vehicle or automotive industry drafting. Knowledge of international standards (ISO, ASME, DIN) for technical drawings. Familiarity with 3D modeling software and rendering tools.#J-18808-Ljbffr
