Key Responsibilities
3.1 Scope Management & ExecutionTake ownership of assigned project scope / discipline / work-frontEnsure execution in accordance with:Contract requirementsTechnical specificationsApproved proceduresMonitor deliverables and progress against plan3.2 Engineering CoordinationEnsure timely preparation and approval of:Engineering deliverablesDrawings and specificationsCoordinate with engineering team to:Resolve technical queries (TQs)Address design clashesSupport constructability and design Procurement CoordinationMonitor procurement activities related to assigned scopeTrack:Long-lead itemsVendor deliverablesCoordinate with Procurement for:ExpeditingInspection and delivery3.4 Fabrication & Construction ManagementSupervise execution at:Fabrication yard(s)Site / offshore (as applicable)Monitor:ProductivityProgress and work qualityAddress execution constraints and ensure smooth workflow3.5 Offshore Installation & Commissioning (if applicable)Support:Load-out and transportation readinessOffshore installation and hook-up activitiesCoordinate with commissioning teams for:System completion and testing3.6 Schedule Control & Progress MonitoringTrack scope-related activities in:Level 3 / Level 4 schedulesMonitor:Critical and near-critical activitiesIdentify delays and support development of recovery plans3.7 Cost Awareness & ControlMonitor cost elements related to assigned scopeSupport cost control team in:Tracking budget vs actualIdentify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs3.8 Interface CoordinationManage interfaces between:Engineering, procurement, and construction teamsCoordinate with Interface Manager for:Cross-package dependenciesEnsure timely resolution of interface issues3.9 HSE ComplianceEnsure adherence to:Project HSE standardsPermit to Work (PTW) systemsPromote safe work practices and participate in:Tool-box talksSafety audits3.10 Quality AssuranceEnsure compliance with:Quality procedures and ITPsMonitor:Inspections and testingNCRs (Non-Conformance Reports)Support closure of quality issues3.11 Risk & Issue ManagementIdentify risks impacting assigned scopeEscalate critical risks to Senior Project ManagerSupport mitigation and corrective actions3.12 Contract & Commercial AwarenessIdentify:Potential variationsScope changesProvide inputs to:Contracts Manager for claims and EOT supportMaintain proper documentation of Reporting & CommunicationPrepare:Daily and weekly progress updatesReport to:Senior Project ManagerParticipate in:Coordination and review meetings3.14 Team Coordination & Resource ManagementSupervise engineers and site teamsEnsure:Adequate manpower allocationEfficient utilization of resourcesSupport team development and performance trackingQualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical / Civil / Offshore preferred)12–18+ years of EPC project experienceMinimum 5–8 years in Project Management / Package handling rolesExperience in:Offshore or brownfield projectsMulti-discipline coordinationPreferably Middle East experienceTechnical CompetenciesEPC project execution processesFabrication and construction practicesBasic planning & scheduling knowledge (Primavera awareness)Cost tracking basicsUnderstanding of QA/QC and HSE requirementsContractual awarenessBehavioural CompetenciesStrong coordination and organizational skillsProblem-solving and proactive approachEffective communication and teamworkAccountability and ownershipAbility to work under project pressures
