LV Switchgear Technician

We are looking for a skilled LV Switchgear Technician to install, test, operate, and maintain low-voltage electrical switchgear systems. The role is critical in ensuring safe, reliable, and uninterrupted power distribution across facilities and projects while complying with electrical safety standards and regulations.Key Responsibilities :Install, assemble, and commission LV switchgear panels.Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of LV panelsIdentify faults and carry out corrective repairs on breakers, relays, contactors, and busbarsEnsure all work complies with electrical safety standards and local authority regulationsConduct testing (insulation resistance, continuity, functional tests)Maintain maintenance logs, test reports, and as-built documentationRequired Qualifications :Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Trade2–5 years of hands-on experience with LV switchgear systemsStrong knowledge of LV componentsAbility to work independently and under site conditionsGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsApply directly through LinkedIn or send your CV to Careers@calidus.ae
