Senior AccountantOur client is a dynamic firm with global reach, seeking a highly qualified Senior Accountant to join their finance team and help scale the operations.Role OverviewAs Senior Accountant, you will assume end-to-end ownership of the accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will have managed multi-currency entities with assets value of USD 3-5 Million per month and hold an active CPA license. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced financial services environment. Excellent technical accounting skills, systems expertise (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable, Joiin), and a strong process mindset are required.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain the full accounting cycle for one or more entities: journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, month-end and year-end close.Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for multi-currency entities.Reconcile cash and multi-currency accounts; monitor daily cash movements.Capable of preparing to investor performance reporting.Manage external audit and tax processes: liaise with auditors/tax advisors, and prepare supporting schedules and documentation.Implement, maintain and improve accounting systems and processes (QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable, Excel/Google Sheets integrations).Develop and maintain internal controls and accounting policies, and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS (as applicable) and regulatory requirements.Provide insights and ad-hoc analytical support to senior management.Qualifications & ExperienceRequiredBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license in good standing is a must.Minimum of 5 years’ accounting experience.Experience handling multi-currency entities/accounts and managing portfolios/entities with assets USD 3-5 Million per month.Proficiency with accounting systems and tools: QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable and Joiin.Excellent analytical ability, attention to detail, ability to work under deadlines, and effective communication skills.PreferredExperience with automated reconciliation tools, API integrations and workflow automation.Familiarity with trading platforms, brokers, derivatives or foreign-exchange exposures.Experience in a global (cross-border) trading or investment environment.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionAccounting/Auditing and FinanceIndustriesIT Services and IT ConsultingLocation: Dubai, United Arab Emirates
