Lead Vessel OperationsThe successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of vessels, cargo handling, and compliance with international maritime standards.Act as second-in-command, providing support to the Master in all vessel operations.Oversee deck crew activities, including mooring, cargo, and offshore operations, to ensure seamless execution.Ensure vessel stability, ballast control, and cargo planning to optimize voyage efficiency.Develop and lead safety drills, emergency preparedness, and crew training programs to maintain a culture of excellence.Maintain strict compliance with ISM, SOLAS, MARPOL, and flag state regulations to uphold industry standards.Prepare and submit detailed operational and safety reports to inform decision-making.Requirements and QualificationsChief Mate Unlimited Certificate of Competency (STCW II/2) is required.A minimum of 24 months' sea service in rank on offshore support or DP vessels is mandatory.Valid STCW, GMDSS, and offshore survival/medical certification is essential.Strong leadership and communication skills are necessary to drive team performance.DP certification is highly advantageous for this role.What We OfferAs a valued member of our team, you can expect:Opportunities for professional growth and development.A dynamic and supportive work environment.Competitive compensation and benefits packages.
