Hiring: General Manager – Engineering & ConstructionLocation: DubaiExperience: 15+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeWe are looking for an experienced General Manager to lead business operations, drive sustainable growth, and take overall responsibility for revenue, profitability, operational performance, and strategic objectives.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced Engineering professional who has progressed into senior business leadership, with strong exposure to business management, project management, project controls, commercial management, contract negotiations, business development, and P&L responsibility.

Key Responsibilities
Lead overall business operations and achieve revenue and profitability targetsDevelop and execute business strategies for sustainable growthAdvise senior management on commercial, operational, and strategic mattersOversee project management, project controls, resource planning, and cost managementLead major commercial and contractual negotiationsIdentify new business opportunities and support market expansionBuild and maintain relationships with key clients, consultants, contractors, and business partnersMonitor business performance and implement corrective actions where requiredDrive organizational development, employee performance, and leadership initiativesStrengthen operational processes, controls, policies, and proceduresManage business risks and support strategic decision-makingMaintain high standards of HSE, quality, compliance, and customer satisfactionRepresent the company in key client and stakeholder meetingsRequirementsBachelor's Degree in Engineering is mandatoryMBA or relevant Master's degree is preferred15+ years of experience in engineering, construction, contracting, or a related industryMinimum 6 years in a senior management position such as General Manager, Business Manager, Operations Manager, or equivalentProven experience managing P&L, revenue, profitability, and business operationsStrong commercial and contractual knowledgeExperience in project management and project controlsProven business development and market expansion experienceStrong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skillsExcellent client and stakeholder management capabilitiesStrong understanding of HSE and quality requirements within engineering/construction environmentsPreferred ProfileCandidates who have managed a full business unit or company, including P&L, operational teams, major client relationships, business development, and strategic growth, will be highly considered.
