Are you an experienced energy lawyer looking to work on some of the most significant projects and transactions in the global energy sector?
Our clients, leading organisations across the Middle East's energy and infrastructure landscape, are actively expanding their in-house legal teams. Whether you're already based in the region or considering a move, this is an exceptional opportunity to join organisations that sit at the heart of the energy transition, major infrastructure development, and international investment.
Why consider these opportunities?
Industry-leading organisations Work with respected state-backed entities, national champions, and globally recognised listed multinationals. Complex, high-value transactions Gain exposure to a constant flow of sophisticated and strategically important projects, joint ventures, and commercial transactions. World-class legal teams Collaborate with highly regarded legal professionals in international-standard environments where legal is a true business partner. Regional impact with global reach Support projects and investments that shape energy markets, infrastructure development, and economic growth across multiple jurisdictions.
What you'll be doing: As part of a high-performing in-house legal team, you will:
Advise on a broad range of oil & gas, energy and infrastructure transactions. Support complex joint ventures and strategic partnerships involving major international energy companies and stakeholders. Draft, negotiate and advise on commercial, engineering, construction and operational agreements. Partner closely with senior business leaders to provide commercially focused legal advice. Identify, assess and mitigate legal and commercial risks across major projects and investments. Contribute to the successful delivery of projects that are critical to business growth and long-term strategy.
What we're looking for: To succeed in these roles, you'll typically bring:
Qualification in a common law jurisdiction. Approximately 5-15 years' post-qualification experience. Experience gained within leading international law firms and/or multinational corporate environments. Strong expertise advising on complex oil & gas, energy or infrastructure transactions. A proven ability to navigate sophisticated commercial arrangements involving NOCs, IOCs, EPC contractors, service providers or government-related entities. Commercial awareness, strong stakeholder management skills, and the confidence to operate within fast-paced, high-profile environments.
