What I will be doing The Senior Associate Project Risk Management role supports the Lead in implementing risk management strategies and ensuring alignment with organizational goals. This role focuses on conducting risk assessments, updating risk registers, and contributing to mitigation strategies. The Senior Associate collaborates with cross‑functional teams to address project risks and provides actionable insights to improve decision‑making. Risk Identification and Assessment Conduct detailed risk assessments, including qualitative and quantitative analyses. Maintain and update project risk registers in coordination with project teams. Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with scheduling and cost teams to address integrated risks. Provide strategic insights to support executive decision‑making and enhance project outcomes. Monitoring and Reporting Monitor risk trends and elevate potential issues to the Lead as necessary. Contribute to the preparation of risk management reports and dashboards. Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to identify emerging risks. Assist in facilitating risk workshops and team discussions. Job Specific Responsibilities Assist in implementing the organization’s risk management framework by conducting risk assessments and maintaining risk registers for assigned projects. Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation and contingency plans. Conduct qualitative and quantitative risk analyses (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations) to assess the likelihood and impact of identified risks. Support the Lead in preparing detailed risk reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. Monitor project progress to identify emerging risks and recommend timely updates to mitigation strategies. Ensure risk data is integrated with scheduling, cost control, and performance reporting functions. Participate in risk workshops, contributing insights and facilitating discussions with stakeholders. Develop process documentation and maintain records for compliance and audit purposes. Contribute to the continuous improvement of risk management tools, techniques, and processes. What I should have Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or equivalent. 10+ years of relevant working experience. Proven track record in management roles in complex engagements. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge in Power BI. Highly skilled user of QRA software (ex. @RISK, Safran, Deltek, PRA or equivalent). What will make me a distinctive candidate Previous experience in the energy or distribution sector. Master’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or equivalent. Certifications: Certification from IRM, RMP, or equivalent. Professional Memberships: Membership in IRM, PMI or equivalent. Experience in Water Projects.
