As the business enters a growth and franchising phase, this role plays a critical part in standardizing training, embedding brand culture, and preparing scalable training systems that can be replicated across company-owned and future franchise locations.ResponsibilitiesTraining and Capability BuildingDeliver structured onboarding and ongoing training for front-of-house, back-of-house, and supervisory teamsEnsure teams are trained on menu knowledge, service standards, SOPs, food safety, and guest experienceConduct refresher training to address performance gaps identified through audits, feedback, or mystery shoppingCoach restaurant managers and supervisors to become effective on-the-job trainersStandardization and DocumentationSupport the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of:Training manualsSOPsService playbooksBrand standards guideEnsure all training content reflects brand positioning, tone of service, and operational excellenceMaintain training records, certifications, and compliance documentationFranchise Readiness & SupportAssist in building franchise-ready training frameworks, including:Train-the-trainer programsFranchise onboarding modulesPre-opening and launch training plansSupport training delivery for new store openings, including pilot and franchise locationsEnsure consistent brand and service standards across company-owned and franchise outletsQuality, Compliance and PerformanceEnsure compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen awareness, and local regulatory requirementsPartner with Operations and QHSE teams to close audit gaps through targeted trainingTrack training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metricsCollaboration and Continuous ImprovementWork closely with Operations, HR, and Brand teams to align training with evolving business needsGather frontline feedback to continuously improve training tools and deliverStay updated on industry best practices in hospitality training and guest experienceJob RequirementsStrong understanding of restaurant operations (FOH & BOH)Excellent training facilitation, coaching, and presentation skillsAbility to translate brand values into practical service behavioursStructured, detail-oriented, and process-drivenComfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth environmentsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence teams at all levelsWillingness to travel and support multiple locations
