The engineer will take responsibility for backend service development, database performance, API design, and overall code quality. You'll work closely with frontend and product teams to ensure the platform remains fast, stable, and secure as new features are rolled out. You'll be joining a product‑focused engineering team working on data‑driven systems with real scale. The role offers autonomy, technical depth, and the chance to influence backend architecture as the platform evolves.
Main ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain backend services using GolangImplement security best practices across services and data flowsDevelop and integrate RESTful APIs for internal and external componentsHandle testing, debugging, documentation, and production readinessCollaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless product functionalityDesign and optimise database structures (SQL/NoSQL)QualificationsThis Developer should have a minimum 4+ years of commercial Go developmentAdditional experience with Python or JavaScript is a bonusHands‑on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitProven ability to optimise database performanceStrong understanding of microservices and REST architectureHigh attention to detail with strong problem‑solving capabilityExposure to AWS, CI/CD tooling, or cloud‑native environments
