Major ResponsibilitiesBusiness understanding: Maintain a strong understanding of Bureau Veritas’ vision, capabilities, and renewable energy service offerings.
Global technical coordination: Coordinate with Global Product Lines, Technical Leads, and Subject Matter Experts across regions to support and strengthen Bureau Veritas’ renewable energy service portfolio.
Renewable project assessment: Lead assignments related to solar, wind, and BESS potential assessment, energy yield assessment, project feasibility reports, detailed project reports, and technical specifications based on client requirements.
Technical due diligence: Lead technical due diligence and lenders’ engineering activities for renewable energy portfolios.
Feasibility and DPR preparation: Prepare feasibility studies and detailed project reports for renewable energy projects.
Design review: Lead design review activities for owners’ engineering projects across domestic markets and network countries.
Client reporting: Prepare and present technical reports to clients and address queries or clarifications effectively.
Quality review: Review all deliverables before submission to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality.
Business development: Support and drive business development for technical advisory and owners’ engineering services in the region.
Subconsultant network: Identify and empanel subcontractors or specialist partners to support project execution during high workload periods or when specific competencies are required.
Quality and ethics compliance: Ensure performance aligns with the Bureau Veritas Quality Assurance System, Code of Ethics, corporate standards, values, identity, policies, and procedures.
Qualification and ExperienceEducational background: BE in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or an equivalent engineering discipline.
Postgraduate advantage: Post-graduation in the energy domain would be an added advantage.
Relevant
experience:
10+ years of experience in renewable energy consultancy.
Essential Skills and QualitiesTechnical expertise: Strong technical ability to understand, analyse, and propose optimal solutions for client requirements.
Contract and due diligence
experience:
Expertise in contract review, technical due diligence, lenders’ engineering, and owners’ engineering for renewable energy portfolios.
Business development: Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
Site assessment: Experience in site assessment for renewable energy projects.
Solar resource assessment: Knowledge of solar resource assessment and energy yield assessment.
Technical writing: Excellent technical report writing and documentation skills.
